Common questions

How do I unlock all the mazes?

Tap any maze with a padlock. A grown-up answers a short addition question, and then the purchase button appears. One payment unlocks all 288 mazes in all eight worlds. There is no subscription. You can also unlock from the grown-ups area: tap the gear in the top-left corner of the home screen.

I paid before, on another device. How do I get the mazes back?

Tap the gear on the home screen, pass the grown-up question, and tap Restore purchase. As long as you are signed in with the same Apple Account that bought it, everything unlocks again at no charge. Family Sharing is supported.

Why is there a maths question?

So a child cannot buy anything or change settings by tapping. Prices and purchase buttons are never shown to children — only a small padlock, so they know more mazes exist.

How does my child play?

Put a finger on the baby animal by the blue arrow and drag along the road. The baby follows the finger to the treat at the exit. The very first maze shows a little hand that demonstrates how.

What are the swirls, keys, switches and troublemakers?

Later mazes add one new idea at a time. Step on a swirl to jump to the other swirl. Pick up the key before going through the locked door. Step on a switch to swap which coloured gates are open. If a troublemaker bumps into the baby, it goes back to the start — the key and switches stay as they were.

The maze is too hard. Is there a hint?

Tap the light bulb at the bottom of the screen. It shows the next few steps, not the whole answer.

How do I print mazes?

Tap the gear on the home screen, pass the grown-up question, and choose a world under Print mazes. You get a PDF with the answers at the end. Key-and-door and swirl mazes work on paper too.

How do I turn the sounds or music off?

Tap the speaker button on the home screen to mute everything, or use the separate switches for sound effects and music in the grown-ups area.

How do I start over?

In the grown-ups area, tap Reset stars and progress. Your purchase is kept.

Does it need the internet?

No. Everything works on a plane, in a car, anywhere. The app has no network features at all.
